Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Longview, TX is seeking a Commercial HVAC Engineer to install, repair, and maintain building HVAC/R systems on a medical campus. You will work on chillers, boilers, rooftop units and associated control components to keep facilities running smoothly.

You'll mentor others, lead by CBRE RISE values, and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations, while ensuring compliance with codes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electrical, steam, and chilled water systems used for building HVAC/R systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure accurate operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Fix equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Work with BMS routinely to supervise, adjust, and tackle building.
• Diagnose and repair self-contained refrigeration equipment such as 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C units.
