Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, inspect and repair HVAC ductwork across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The role emphasizes working with sheet metal and flexible ducts with emphasis on quality, safety and efficiency.

Office location is Holt, FL with surrounding-area sites. Typical hours are 6:30AM to 3:00 PM, with variation based on production schedules. A strong benefits package and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork design and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and HVAC plans.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and operate ladders or lifts.
• Attention to detail in sealing, connections and measurements.
• Customer service skills for job sites and clients.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork according to blueprints, ensuring proper connections and minimizing air leaks.
• Inspect and maintain existing ductwork, identify leaks and ensure optimal airflow.
• Repair damaged ductwork by replacing sections and making adjustments.
• Fabricate duct components by cutting, bending and joining sheet metal.
• Install insulation around ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnose duct system issues and implement solutions.
• Use tools including shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, leak detectors, refrigerant recovery machines.
