Job summary

Chief Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to assemble and install heat ducting in our production environment. The role requires reading prints, using common construction tools, and following blueprints to achieve precise duct lengths.

Must have a general construction background and the ability to operate power tools, measuring devices, and hoists. High school diploma or GED is preferred; full benefits apply for this full-time position in Aurora, NE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• General construction experience required.
• Knowledge of construction tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install heat duct per specifications.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16”.
• Understand blueprints and production orders.
• Use staple and nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, hoists and related equipment.
• Prep duct by reading prints, cutting flex duct to length and fastening to boot with zip ties and tape.
• Run main duct out with extruder to proper length.
