Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Duct Installer to perform ductwork installation on site, reading blueprints and following mechanical plans to ensure accurate placement and system integrity.

The role requires 4+ years in sheet metal, a valid driver’s license, and solid communication skills. Expect OSHA safety adherence and potential overtime as project needs arise. Training and safety are emphasized throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the sheet metal field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate and install ductwork and other materials per mechanical plans and specs.
• Measure ductwork offsets and transitions as required for a complete system.
• Read architectural and mechanical blueprints to determine duct location and elevations.
• Assemble ductwork and fittings at the job site for installation.
• Assist the mechanical contractor in locating and installing equipment, exhaust fans, vents and sheet metal items.
• Adhere to company safety/OSHA rules and regulations.
• Maintain regular and overtime work as required.
