Job summary

Glacial Air Services Llc is seeking an HVAC Duct Installer to install, assemble, modify, and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The role ensures proper airflow, system efficiency, and code compliance.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, assembling ducts, sealing joints, installing dampers and diffusers, insulating ductwork, and testing systems for leaks, with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years HVAC duct installation or sheet metal experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and airflow principles.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Install HVAC duct systems according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Install flexible and rigid duct systems.

• Follow all local building codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians, project managers, and other trades.
• Inspect and test duct systems for leaks and proper airflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
