Job summary

JW Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an HVAC Duct Install Apprentice to join our team for residential duct work. You will assist the lead installer, gather components, parts and tools, and ensure quality and safety on every job.

The role offers growth through training and development, with attention to safety and customer service, in a field environment across various residential sites. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a general construction field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Good communication and attention to detail are important for onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installer with residential duct work, gathering components, parts and tools and ensuring safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, educate customers on new systems, and complete projects from start to finish.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and offer recommendations for ongoing upkeep and reliability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle client concerns professionally.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Document services performed and keep accurate records of parts used and work completed.
