Job summary

The ONE SOURCE Companies in Wallingford, Connecticut seeks an HVAC air duct cleaner/maintenance technician to join our Building Maintenance Service Department. This full-time role focuses on air duct cleaning, inspections, and basic HVAC maintenance for heating and cooling systems.

You will perform duct cleaning, maintain records, and communicate service recommendations to clients, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in duct cleaning, HVAC maintenance, restoration or construction preferred.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clear background check required.
• OSHA 10 hour card required or we can guide you to obtain it.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with some nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of HVAC duct systems to identify cleaning or repair needs.
• Use specialized equipment to clean ductwork and remove dust, dirt, and contaminants.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during cleaning.
• Communicate with clients, explain services and provide maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and issues found.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
