Wrench Group is seeking a dedicated Duct Cleaner to join our team. You will clean and maintain residential HVAC ductwork, ensuring airflow, removing dust and contaminants, and supporting air quality and system efficiency.

This role requires hands-on work, strict safety practices, and attention to detail. You will inspect ducts, operate cleaning equipment, perform minor repairs, and document findings for clients while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and air duct systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in tight or cramped spaces (e.g., attics, basements, crawlspaces).
• Ability to bend, twist, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including high places and dust-filled areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain air ducts, vents, and HVAC systems using specialized equipment and tools.
• Inspect duct systems to identify blockages, leaks, and potential issues.
• Remove dust, dirt, mold, and debris from ducts using air compressors, brushes, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment.
• Ensure proper airflow and air quality by cleaning and sanitizing air ducts, registers, and vents.
• Perform minor repairs on ducts, such as sealing leaks or replacing damaged components.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during cleaning tasks.
• Document work performed and provide customers with detailed reports on the condition of their air ducts.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns.
• Adhere to industry standards and local codes while performing work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both at the job site and in company vehicles.
