Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Sr. HVAC Design Engineer to originate ideas and integrate them into new or redesigned products for standard or special applications, ensuring quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability and cost considerations.

You will lead projects to completion by their due dates and perform special engineering tasks as required. The ideal candidate has a related degree, 5+ years drafting experience, and HVAC product line exposure, with strong AUTOCAD Mechanical skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Vocational school certificate in electro/mechanical drafting or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of drafting experience.
3 of which was obtained on multiple product lines in the HVAC industry.
Manufacturing processes and systems, engineering systems, product coding and assigned products required.

Responsibilities

Originate ideas and incorporate them into the design of new products or redesign existing products for standard or special applications.
Ensure that quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability and cost are considered and projects are completed on or before established due dates.
Perform special engineering projects or complete special design projects.

Job Description Summary

Sunbelt’s Sr. HVAC Design Engineer is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers.

The Sr. HVAC Design Engineer will be empowered to originate ideas and incorporate them into the design of new products or redesign existing products for standard or special applications in a manner which ensures that consideration has been given to quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability and cost; and that projects are completed on or before established due dates. The Sr. HVAC Design Engineer also performs special engineering projects or complete special design projects.

Education or experience that prepares you for success

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Vocational school certificate in electro/mechanical drafting or equivalent work experience
5+ years of drafting experience
3 of which was obtained on multiple product lines in the HVAC industry

Base Pay Range: $74,144.00 - 101,948.00 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
