Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a reliable HVAC Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate in Pasadena, TX. You will safely deliver HVAC products and support warehouse operations, ensuring top-notch customer service at each stop.

The role requires loading/unloading, inventory help, and adherence to safety protocols. CDL is preferred; 1+ year truck driving experience and DOT medical certification are needed. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
• Box Truck delivery experience.
• A valid DOT medical certificate is required prior to employment.
• Must meet DOT physical qualification standards; reasonable accommodations.
• CDL licenses are highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience, including forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service focus and relationship-building.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment; accommodations provided as needed.
• Demonstrated willingness for continuous learning and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers and other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to the Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory, picking and verifying orders.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and report times with returns.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Report safety hazards or incidents to management.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to prevent accidents.
• Follow guidelines for safe operation of truck and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and workspace.
