Job summary

Johnstone Supply | Balsan Group in Medford, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver to join a fast-growing HVACR distributor. You will safely operate a 26-foot box truck, make on-time deliveries, and maintain professional customer relations at every stop.

In the warehouse, you will pick, pack, stage orders, stock inventory, and support loading operations while keeping safety and DOT procedures a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience driving 26-ft box trucks (required or strongly preferred).
• DOT experience or willingness to work under DOT standards.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-ft box truck to deliver HVAC equipment and parts.
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to customers and job sites.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain delivery paperwork (receipts, logs, confirmations).
• Represent the company professionally at every stop—customer relationships matter here.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and organization.
• Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and workspace.
• Take ownership—if it’s in front of you, you handle it.
