Job summary

Carrier is seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyman Data Center Chiller Technician to service and maintain high‑efficiency cooling systems across state‑of‑the‑art facilities. You will perform startup, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance, collaborating with teams to deliver reliable climate control and energy solutions.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, EPA Universal, 5+ years in HVAC, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC industry.
• 3+ months working with centrifugal chillers.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on rooftops or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in startup and commissioning of new units.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot and maintain heating and cooling units.
• Review and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and escalate issues as needed.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to licensing and hazard requirements.
