American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies, serving customers for 85 years.

We seek a motivated Counter Sales Representative for our Mountain View Branch to provide excellent customer service and HVACR solutions while maintaining a positive demeanor. You will enter orders, create quotes, process transactions, and advise customers on products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in HVAC industry (preferred).
• 1 year customer service in fast-paced environment.
• Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Must communicate well with others.
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
• Basic typing skills.
• Ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders, create quotes and other counter sales transactions, credit/cash transactions, obtaining signatures for billing purposes.
• Sell equipment, tools, parts, accessories, materials, and supplies to dealers, contractors, service firms and other industrial accounts.
• Regularly check product stock and inventory OE and IMI.
• Remain current and knowledgeable about products and the Company portfolio.
• Provide accurate price points from Company database.
• Receive and fill telephone and PROKEEP orders effectively.
• Collaborate with outside/inside sales teams to provide timely feedback and pricing quotes.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise and inventory organization.
• Attend branch meetings and training sessions as requested.
• Be available after hours/weekends/holidays to open the branch and transact business on a rotating basis.
• Available for Mandatory Inventory Weekend every November.
• Other duties as assigned.
