Job summary

Sid Harvey’s, an HVAC wholesale distributor of heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment, is seeking a full-time HVAC Counter Sales associate for its Milwaukee, WI location. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly with purchases and order processing, and by promoting Sid Harvey’s products through upselling.

Maintain product knowledge, accurate data entry, and a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers at the counter and processing orders.
• Answer questions and provide information as needed to facilitate purchases.
• Promote products through add-on sales and upselling within Sid Harvey’s guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist customers at counter and process orders accurately.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues at all times.
• Promote Sid Harvey and MITCO products as selling tools to increase sales.
• Enter customer orders, transfers, pricing and inventory data into the system.
• Follow up on orders and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
• Provide product quotes and knowledge of HVAC products to meet customer needs.
• Keep knowledge of inventory and location of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Communicate policies and procedures regarding purchases, returns, credit terms.
