Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company’s 2J Supply is seeking a motivated showroom associate to greet customers, process orders and provide product recommendations in our Ohio showroom. You’ll handle customer inquiries, pull orders, and enter data into our inventory system, while delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Distributor knowledge preferred; HVAC knowledge a plus.
• Computer literate and able to learn an inventory system.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers in a prompt professional manner.
• Answering customer calls professionally, politely and promptly on a multi extension phone.
• Assist with pulling orders and entry into the database for processing.
• Provide recommendations or solutions to customers regarding HVAC products.
• Accurately process orders and manage customer accounts.
• Stock inventory as needed in the showroom.
• Price out basic quotes & product availability from vendors.
• Process warranty claims.
• General cleaning & showroom upkeep.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

40+ hours/week -- Monday - Friday -- Normally scheduled 8 hours/day - between 7:00am - 4:30pm Hours may vary based on business need.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required.
• Sales experience is preferred

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The physical abilities required for this position include walking; grasping; kneeling; crawling; reaching; carrying; stooping; crouching; standing; sitting; climbing; lifting (up to 100lbs).
