Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site technician to perform system commissioning using our configuration tools, troubleshoot basic HVAC controls, and respond to warranty calls. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, delivering practical solutions at the point of service.

Loads system-level controller software, performs diagnostics, and documents changes for as-built records. You will calibrate equipment, complete safety trainings, and communicate progress with customers and JCI teams.

Qualifications

• Vocational school + 3 years of industry experience or 1 year servicing HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls and facilities management systems.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• PC experience and ability to program HVAC software.

Responsibilities

• Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical/mechanical issues on-site.
• Provide on-site service and upsell opportunities where appropriate.
• Document commissioning, progress, and as-built changes.
