Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems.
• Three to five years experience as a certified heating and refrigeration mechanic.
• Ability to work on rooftops and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform work to build, install, and repair HVAC systems.
• Maintain inventory control of assigned shop and truck stock.
• Assist contractors in ensuring completion of contracted work.

Skills

Knowledge of all piping and tubing related to commercial refrigeration

Ability to identify, evaluate and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Basic computational skills

Ability to communicate with vendors in terminology of refrigeration trade

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of a trade school course with two years duration
