Job summary

Capstone is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to install, calibrate, repair, and maintain HVAC control systems at customer sites across Texas. You will diagnose direct digital control systems, understand complex HVAC sequences, and coordinate on-site work with customers.

This role requires strong communication, a Texas operator's license within 30 days, and willingness to travel including overnight stays. Prior experience with BACnet/Lonmark is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
• Two or more years of successful HVACR experience, either as a commercial service or installation technician.
• Good oral and reading skills and ability to communicate with customers and Capstone employees.
• Ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs direct digital control systems at customer's location.
• Understands HVAC sequence of operations on VAV, make-up air, RTU, hydronic, and other typical control systems.
• Tests, downloads programming, startups, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Maintains vehicle and inventories, completes required paperwork and reports.
