Job summary

Aspire MRO is seeking a Facilities – HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC and building control systems. You will apply knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, and digital controls to diagnose issues and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires documenting work, communicating findings to management, and providing recommendations to improve reliability and energy management.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial controls troubleshooting in HVAC.
Vocational school graduate or associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ related experience.
Ability to install/service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to management.
Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning of HVAC and building control systems.
Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions using electronic, pneumatic, and digital controls.
Coordinate work with facilities manager and ensure timely, professional execution.
Follow safety standards and provide safety guidance to technicians.
Assist in design/configuration of building control systems and develop diagrams/schematics.
Assist in developing/testing software for system operation.
Support loading/commissioning of controllers and validate system functionality.
Provide recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency.
