Job summary

Building Control Integrators, LLC (BCI) in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to join our growing BAS team and support a wide range of installations for end users.

You’ll help manage BAS projects, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and perform project startups and commissioning to ensure systems are installed and operating per design.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in building controls and automation, including troubleshooting, commissioning and panel building.
  • Experience with building automation systems programming.
  • Working knowledge of BACnet control systems.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office.
  • Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
  • Experience with Delta Controls and/or Niagara is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work on team to manage BAS projects to reflect our customer first philosophy while bringing projects in on budget.
  • Manage field technician tasks, work with engineering and graphics departments to deliver best project outcomes.
  • Help to manage electrical installation by 3rd party installers.
  • Work closely with owners, general contractors and mechanical contractors.
  • Work with lead technician to perform project BAS integration with front end interface, including 3rd party devices.
  • Working on a team providing timely response to construction items: RFIs, change orders, schedule changes, etc.
  • Verifying proper operation of all BAS items including: database files, programs, sequences, and occupancy schedules.
  • Ensuring proper M&V equipment functionality, including accurate data recording and storage
  • Coordinating work with other trades
  • Performing project start-ups & commissioning as needed

What You’ll Be Doing:

Knowledge and Experience You’ll Need:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in building controls and automation, including troubleshooting, commissioning and panel building.
  • Experience with building automation systems programming.
