Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to join our Knoxville service team. You will maintain and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC systems, read control drawings, and install BAS components while documenting work daily.

The role requires problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a safety-conscious environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HVAC controls, electrical aptitude, and a willingness to learn advanced BAS concepts;

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience with HVAC controls or commercial HVAC service.
• Electrical experience with a desire to learn HVAC Controls.
• Advanced computer coding skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings.
• Must be able to install conduit, pull wire, and terminate controls based on controls drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to read controls drawings and understand the steps for installation of BAS Systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of controls as needed.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems to ensure proper troubleshooting and repair.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a iPhone, iPad, or computer.
