The Controls Specialist Supervisor serves as a senior technical leader and people manager within the Controls organization, responsible for overseeing the execution of complex Building Automation System (BAS) projects while leading and developing a team of Controls Specialists and Technicians. This role combines advanced technical expertise with supervisory responsibility to ensure high-quality project delivery, standardization of best practices, and continuous development of team capability. The Controls Specialist Supervisor acts as a key escalation point for technical issues and plats a critical role in aligning field execution with operational and business objectives.
This position operates in a combination of office and field environments, with regular visits to construction sites, customer facilities, and mechanical rooms. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Field Operations. Work environments may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions. Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required during site visits. Occasional travel may be required to support project execution and team oversight.
