Job summary

A staffing agency specializing in HVAC solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a role focused on HVAC controls. Responsibilities include interpreting mechanical drawings, programming microprocessors for commissioning, and ensuring system operation. Qualifications

• Familiarity with LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus open communications protocols.
• Niagara AX or N4 Framework Experience (Certified Preferred).
• A strong background with Windows OS.
• 2+ Years’ experience in the HVAC controls industry.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement mechanical and control drawings and project documents.
• Program microprocessors for initial commissioning, tune of control loops, and calibration of sensors.
• Commission operation of mechanical system equipment and sensors via the control system.
• Identify deficiencies with points, equipment, and systems.
• Set up and install communication devices for remote operations: PC’s, routers, switches, repeaters, VPN, etc.
• Coordinate with customer IT departments for database connectivity, remote access, & other IT infrastructure needs.
• Ensure all as-built and record drawings, sketches, and wiring changes are returned for updating.
• Instruct customer or end-user on system operation.
• Promote, maintain, and enhance new and existing customer relationships.
• Participate in education and training programs in electronic controls and energy conservation programming.
• Assist TAB, commissioning, and service technicians in verification of their system testing when required.
• Setup, program, and configure GUI/host workstations.
• Panel fabrication, wire termination, and wire installation as needed.
