Holland Sharpe Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Programmer for HVAC systems in Nashville. You will design, program, and support HVAC control systems for large commercial facilities, using DDC, BAS, and PLC-based controls.

The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and providing field support to ensure systems operate to design specifications. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in building automation, familiarity with major BAS platforms, and strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC controls programming or building automation experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, control sequences, and electrical fundamentals.
• Experience with major BAS platforms (Niagara, JCI, Siemens, Distech).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission HVAC control systems for commercial projects (DDC, BAS, PLC).
• Develop and modify control logic, graphics, and sequences of operation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to meet design specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and technicians for smooth delivery.
• Support system start-up, testing, and documentation.
• Provide remote or on-site technical support to clients and field staff.
