Job summary

MetroPower is seeking a Lead Technician, Low Voltage to supervise and perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low voltage systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership duties to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and high-quality results.

You will coordinate with project managers, guide technicians, enforce safety protocols, and maintain strong customer satisfaction across projects in our Georgia operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years experience in HVAC control systems installation.
• Experience supervising a team of installers.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC control systems installation.
• BICSI Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities, tools, equipment and materials to maximize efficiency and stay on schedule and budget.
• Mentor and oversee low voltage technicians, ensuring safe, high-quality work.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems and structured cabling per codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site inspections to confirm workmanship and compliance.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with supervisors for final inspections.
• Communicate with customers and teams to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
