Job summary

Quantum Building Solutions, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking HVAC Controls Installation Technicians to support a growing project pipeline. Position offers full-time hours, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include installing controls, routing wiring, installing conduit, supporting startup and commissioning, and reading schematics. Benefits include medical, 401(k), holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing HVAC controls, low-voltage systems, or commercial electrical systems.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, control panels, controllers, sensors, and field devices preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC controls, BAS/BMS panels, sensors, thermostats, actuators, and other field devices.
• Route, terminate, and test low-voltage control wiring.
• Install conduit, cable tray systems, and control components per project plans.
• Support equipment startup, system checkout, and commissioning activities.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
• Work with HVAC installers, electricians, and controls specialists to keep projects moving.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship following company standards and codes.

What You'll Be Working On

• Installing HVAC controls, BAS/BMS panels, sensors, thermostats, actuators, and other field devices

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience installing HVAC controls, low-voltage systems, or commercial electrical systems
• Experience working with Building Automation Systems, control panels, controllers, sensors, and field devices preferred
• The ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction documents
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
