Job summary

Hoffman Building Technologies, Inc. seeks a Service Engineer in the HBT Controls Service department in Atlanta, GA. You will perform engineering tasks to ensure system operability and timely completion of projects, including documentation, wiring diagrams, programming, and onsite troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and occasional travel, with remote troubleshooting and mentoring responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

AA degree in applied technology or equivalent experience.
Experience with HVAC systems and mechanical controls.
Programming and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to work independently and remotely when needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain Hoffman standard engineering practices.
Maintain industry technical knowledge.
Engineering/Programming as required.
Onsite Big Picture Tasks as required.
Limited travel as required.
Remote troubleshooting support as required.
Provide Consistent and Clear Communications and Mentoring as required (Supervisor,Service Coordinator, Account Manager, Project Manager, Technicians and Customers).
