Jobot is seeking an engineer specialized in building automation, HVAC controls, and systems integration. The role involves pre- and post-sale site assessments, data analysis for performance gaps, and leading commissioning efforts to ensure systems operate per design.

Travel up to 30% and a hybrid work schedule are supported. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or related technical field, strong HVAC knowledge, and experience with control systems and integration projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or Associate degree in mechanical/electrical technology with relevant experience.
• HVAC systems and building automation know-how.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25–30% (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and evaluate mechanical, operational, and control systems.
• Analyze data to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Develop implementation plans, scopes of work, and budgets.
• Lead field startup and commissioning to verify design intent.
• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and operation.
• Provide on-site and remote client training on system operation and diagnostics.
• Support post-installation verification and optimization.
• Act as liaison between clients, engineering teams, and partners.
