Job summary

Volunteer State Community College is seeking an HVAC Controls Engineer to document and program HVAC and process control systems across campus sites. Responsibilities include installation, testing, calibration, and maintenance of control systems, with BAS protocols like BACnet and Modbus.

Travel to campuses and adherence to safety guidelines are expected. The role requires an Associate’s Degree with 3+ years BAS/Controls experience or a high school/GED with 5 years in related fields; EPA

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3+ years BAS/Controls experience or 5+ years if no degree.
• EPA Universal certification and valid driver's license required.
• HVAC electrical troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with Web Control/AutoLogic platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily mechanical operations across campuses and configure control systems.
• troubleshoot integration issues and calibrate data collection points.
• Repair diverse HVAC equipment and download/adjust BAS programs.
• Develop valve/actuator schedules and perform functional checks.
• Observe safety procedures and manage cost-saving measures.
