Job summary

JM Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Controls Apprentice to assist with installation and startup of low-voltage control systems on commercial projects. Ideal candidates have experience with low-voltage wiring and a desire to build a career in HVAC controls and building automation.

Responsibilities include installing conduits, wiring control devices, aiding startup and testing, and maintaining project documentation. This is a full-time on-site role in Salt Lake City, UT.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, raceways, and low-voltage cabling.
• Mount and wire control devices (sensors, relays, etc.).
• Assist with system startup, testing, and verification. Follow project plans, schedules, and safety standards.
• Complete daily reports and documentation.
