Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Controls Application Engineer in Sacramento, CA to design, program, and commission BAS for commercial and industrial facilities. You will develop sequences, software, drawings, and submittals, coordinating with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and other trades to meet project requirements.

The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, material coordination, and end-to-end project execution, with a competitive base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of BAS/HVAC Controls industry experience.
• BAS/HVAC Controls engineering and design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Experience with platforms (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, Honeywell).

Responsibilities

• Designing, programming, and commissioning HVAC-focused BAS/OA systems per project requirements.
• Develop sequences, software, drawings, and submittals; coordinate with customers, field teams, subcontractors and other trades.
• Support troubleshooting, commissioning, material coordination, and project execution through completion.

MUST HAVE

• Experience with one or more of the following platforms (or related): Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, Honeywell etc.

NICE TO HAVE

• Tridium Niagara N4 certification
