Under general supervision, perform master journey-level work in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning trade involving the installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, programming, and repair of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and computerized control systems. Responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring new BAS control strategies to improve energy efficiency, facilities operations, and customer satisfaction. The work involves reading and interpreting blueprints, HVAC system diagrams, and specifications, isolating problems, and installing and calibrating controls and equipment accordingly. The incumbent will be the lead responder for reports of 'out of range' conditions in critical patient care areas. Monitor and modify control systems and software to ensure optimal functionality and reliability, and communicate issues appropriately.
