Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a Superintendent to oversee plumbing system installations, scheduling materials, equipment and manpower, and to ensure quality across projects.

You will maintain open lines of communication between the job site and the project manager, manage field staff, and monitor safety and production. The role requires a minimum of seven years as a full-charge Project Manager/Superintendent with knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC construction and strong cost-control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Management, Engineering, or related field is desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• California Class C Driver License is required.
• Seven or more years of experience as a full charge Project Manager/Superintendent.
• Knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC construction.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Ability to read plans, perform takeoffs, estimating and cost controls.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain clear communication between job site and project manager.
• Manage field employees and scheduling of manpower for each project.
• Inspect and verify job quality, progress, changes, safety, and production.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget and quality specifications.
• Develop subcontractor base and maintain relationships with builders.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and uphold safety standards.
• Review job cost reports for accuracy and manage budget adjustments as needed.
• Travel to different jobsites as directed by management.
