Your role: As a Commercial HVAC/R technician, you will:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing the information they need to make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with a support team including dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources.

Primary Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of Commercial HVAC experience, including demonstrated experience with Commercial HVAC Refrigeration systems.
• This position is performed remotely but may require travel to client locations for training, meetings, and in-person events.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with established processes and practices that comply with environmental, health, safety, security, and fire protection standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed; some travel may be required.
• Physical requirements include climbing and descending ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., lifting up to 75 lbs., and maneuvering in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Subject to drug testing, background checks, and valid driver’s license verification.

Skills:

• Service and install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Service and install new ice machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on ice machines and refrigeration units.
• Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems to determine necessary repairs.
• Inspect, repair, and replace equipment as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
• Observe facility and mechanical conditions, providing recommendations for improvements and repairs.
• Participate in facility-related projects.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work on light commercial equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete paperwork promptly and report to job assignments on time.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
