Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support a growing North America Data Center market. You will participate in startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services, with a focus on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers and large rooftop units.

We offer STA certification, tool provision, uniforms, and a company vehicle, with a strong emphasis on safety and career development. Local travel and ongoing training are required.

Formación

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians who have experience with air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large roof top ducted units to support the growing data center market. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

What we look for

Required

• Be a vital member of a new North America Data Center team responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
• Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Local travel to support Data Center Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
• You may be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.
• Willing to invest in career development. You will enroll in training programs to gain knowledge in HVAC products supporting the Data Center Market.
• You will work with local market technicians and when necessary, provide on the job training.
• Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.
• Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.
• Prioritize safety in all forms.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, good driving record and valid driver's license.
