What you will do

How will you do it

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians with experience in air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, or large rooftop ducted units. Preferred experience includes industrial petro-chemical or data center environments. We offer factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA), with recognition, monetary rewards, and opportunities for advancement. You will provide our customers with the highest level of service to address facility inefficiencies and resolve service issues. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver solutions and outcomes during commissioning and aftermarket service, including upselling opportunities and supporting quotes.

What we look for

Required

• Be a dedicated team member willing to learn and responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services in this fast-growing business.
• Membership or willingness to join a local Union. Qualified candidates may receive overscale pay.
• At least 3 years of practical experience with air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, or large rooftop units, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon systems.

• Maintain necessary safety certifications.
• Extensive HVAC systems experience, including chilled water loops, pumping, and compressor troubleshooting and rebuilding.
• Mechanical shaft alignment skills using dial indicators, lasers, etc.
• Ability to use vibration equipment for compressor driveline troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing large tonnage chillers with 460V VSDs.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% for support activities.
• Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiency.

• Strong interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills to effectively report problems, causes, and corrective actions.
