Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an on-site Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and grounds staff across multifamily properties. You’ll oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate vendor services, and ensure timely make-ready turns while handling after-hours calls.

Ideal candidates will have 4–5 years in multifamily maintenance with 1–2 years in supervision, basic carpentry/plumbing/electrical skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of maintenance experience in multifamily properties
• 1–2 years in a supervisor capacity
• HVAC knowledge with basic carpentry/plumbing/electrical skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel to other properties if needed
• HVAC certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and grounds personnel
• Oversee maintenance and preventative maintenance needs
• Work with vendors for contracted services
• Prep apartments for make-ready turns
• On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Complete work orders and service requests
• Maintain HVAC and other mechanical systems
