Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Service / Maintenance Technician III to support multiple apartment communities in the Richmond, VA area. The role focuses on timely maintenance, appliance installation and repair, and adherence to environmental and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC and electrical issues, repairing refrigeration cycles, plumbing, and basic carpentry. On-call duties and on-site work at several Richmond locations are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC repair experience of 3+ years with troubleshooting of appliances.
• EPA 608 Certification required (Type I/II/Universal).
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Must provide hand tools as listed.
• Respiratory protection medical clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Install appliances and HVAC items to maintain safe, comfortable dwellings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits in residential HVAC systems and appliances.
• Repair refrigeration cycle and system components.
• Repair plumbing systems and fixtures as needed.
• Complete work orders using ServUS Connect.
• Perform basic carpentry and related tasks.
• Maintain curb appeal and perform inclement weather maintenance.
• Be on-call and participate in on-site duties.
