Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring a Building Maintenance/HVAC Technician for a full-time role. The position requires at least three years of general maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, with basic computer skills to document activities.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining building systems, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while prioritizing resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Three years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Repair kitchen equipment and refrigeration
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
