Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts, and calibrates complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems and devices across multiple manufacturer platforms.
  • Writes, tests, and debugs BAS computer programs and sequences, updates the graphical web interface, and maintains communication protocols like BACnet, LonWorks, and Tridium.
  • Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance, including testing damper motors, checking wiring integrity, reviewing control sequences, and replacing faulty sensors or thermostats.
  • Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and system data to diagnose defects, implements corrective actions, and ensures all installation and repair activities comply with safety standards and building codes.
  • Provides technical support for capital projects, assists engineers with hardware and software design recommendations, handles emergency service calls, and participates in training and special projects.
