Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced project coordination engineer to oversee engineering and field activities for new construction and renovations in the Gambrills, MD area. You will lead coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in HVAC controls and BAS, ability to read plans, develop shop drawings, supervise commissioning, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience with 2+ years in BACs/controls.
• Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Ability to read plans and specifications; familiarity with multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager to complete projects on or before schedule.
• Develop shop drawings, submittals, databases, programs, and graphical interfaces.
• Provide QA of engineering packages and modify them as needed.
• Communicate technical material to non-technical audiences; mentor junior staff.
• Support commissioning and check-out activities; ensure system is functional.
