Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Houston, TX, is seeking a Control Systems Tech II to perform preventive maintenance, revise software and hardware, and develop control loops for HVAC and Building Automation Systems.

You will install new controllers, create graphical interfaces for facility equipment, and ensure compliance with codes. A strong background in DDC controls and Building Automation is required, with hospital and Honeywell experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' experience as a DDC controls systems service-related technician.
• Factory trained in a DDC system’s programming language.
• Building Automation System experience.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Honeywell building automation system experience preferred.
• Commercial high-rise controls systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Make revisions to the software and hardware operating systems.
• Develop and run simulations of control loop performance.
• Develop new control loops.
• Install new controllers and develop/install graphical interfaces for facility equipment.
