Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting in Winter Garden, FL seeks an experienced HVAC BIM/VDC Coordinator to develop and coordinate BIM models for commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction through completion. You will work with project managers, estimators, field teams, engineers, architects, and general contractors to ensure accurate modeling and proper coordination.

The role requires proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify clashes

Qualifications

• Experience developing and coordinating BIM models for commercial HVAC projects.
• Working knowledge of HVAC layouts and installation requirements.
• Identify clashes and coordinate with trades.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams.
• Strong attention to detail and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain BIM models for commercial HVAC projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, superintendents, field installers, engineers, architects, general contractors, and other trades.
• Review HVAC system layouts for accuracy, coordination, and constructability before field installation.
• Identify and resolve potential clashes between HVAC systems and other building systems or trades.
• Develop coordinated HVAC layouts that support project execution and installation.
• Support prefabrication efforts by providing accurate, coordinated modeling information.
• Create and provide drawings, layouts, and model details to field personnel to support installation activities.
• Maintain BIM models and associated project information from preconstruction through project completion.

HVAC BIM/VDC COORDINATOR

Location: Winter Garden, FL/Hybrid/Remote

Work Arrangement: Fulltime

Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Required Experience: BIM/VDC coordination experience supporting commercial HVAC projects

Critical Qualifications: Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam; HVAC system modeling, clash detection, and construction coordination.

Position Overview

• Ability to identify coordination issues and resolve clashes between HVAC systems and other building trades.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project management, engineering, design, and field installation teams.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction sequencing and constructability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting HVAC prefabrication and field installation processes.
• Familiarity with additional BIM, VDC, and construction technology platforms.
• Experience coordinating projects from preconstruction through final completion.
