Job summary

Air International Thermal Systems is seeking a production assembler to contribute to the manufacturing of HVAC and cooling components in Auburn, CA. The role involves following work instructions, assembling sub-assemblies, labeling, packing, and maintaining a clean workspace in a mixed office/manufacturing setting.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and sit for long periods, and may require overtime based on customer demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reads work instructions, operator manuals and performs work as assigned by process leads.
• Assembles materials to produce sub-assemblies of a finished product.
• Operates minor power equipment to fasten screws or bolts to the product.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Track production on schedule boards.
• Notify team leader of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work weekends/overtime as the Customer need dictates.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
