Job summary

Amatrol, Inc. in Jeffersonville, Indiana, is seeking a hands-on HVAC assembler to build and troubleshoot refrigeration systems. You will read blueprints, solder copper tubing, and verify assemblies against specifications in a climate-controlled facility.

We expect a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read English technical drawings. EPA 608 certification is a plus, and applicants should be self-motivated and reliable on a day shift.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical specs (English).
• Self-motivated, works well independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, and components.
• Solder copper tubing.
• Read blueprints and specs to build to standard.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose defects in components and equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain test/production equipment.
• Document build procedures.
