Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to assemble portable HVAC equipment, inspect, assist with repairs, and prepare equipment for customers. Training is provided. Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm. You will work in a dynamic team focused on reliability, safety, and hands-on learning.

We welcome entry-level applicants with mechanical aptitude. Vocational training is a plus. The role offers growth opportunities within a supportive company environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; mechanical aptitude or basic technical skills required.
• Basic plumbing/pipe-fitting knowledge is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical system principles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners, etc.).
• Safely load and unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers.
• Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/ modification.
• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials indoors and outdoors.
• Wash and inspect returned equipment, reporting any damage.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.

What You’ll Do
