Job summary

Knorr Brake Company in Westminster, MD is seeking an HVAC Technician II to conduct prebuild inspections and assemble HVAC units for rail cars. You will use hand, pneumatic, and power tools, follow drawings, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with ISO, AAR and safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform prebuild inspections of components and sub-assemblies.
• Assemble components per work instructions using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Install sub-assemblies, gaskets and wiring per schematics.
• Serialize parts and document work orders in SAP.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow company policies.
