Job summary

Kelso Industries is recruiting an HVAC Apprentice to join our service team in Phoenix. This entry-level role focuses on preventative maintenance, basic service tasks, and hands-on learning alongside licensed technicians.

You will work toward EPA certification and a professional HVAC license while gaining experience on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related systems. A strong willingness to learn and reliable attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• EPA 608 Certification or pursuing certification is required.
• Valid driver's license in good standing is required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians with preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, belt inspection, and lubrication.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals with supervision.
• Support service calls, startups, and equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
