Job summary

Gropp Heating, Air & Electric is hiring an HVAC Apprentice Installer to install equipment in residential homes in the Moscow area. You will handle furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components while learning the trade and meeting safety standards.

The role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and comfort working outdoors. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; strong customer service skills are a plus as you support customers and

• Desire to learn the HVAC trade and become a journeyman.
• Ability to measure ductwork and install equipment and accessories.
• Must be able to lift 100lbs.
• Comfortable working from ladders that are 28’ and possibly higher.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in the elements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes.
• Troubleshoot equipment installation, start-up, operation and other issues.
• Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings.
• Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational.
• Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle.
• Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure.
• Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and in operating order.
• Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

HVAC Apprentice Installer in a Nutshell - The Installer will install HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes. This includes equipment such as: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes

Work Schedule

Full-time
Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
