Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking an HVAC technician to perform minor service and repairs under supervision. The role involves preventive maintenance, electrical/controls work, and routine documentation.

Responsibilities include inspecting HVAC systems, operating tools, and responding to emergencies as needed. A high school diploma and basic trade experience are required; FWISD provides PPE and training.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year general trade or maintenance experience preferred.
• Fort Worth ISD CTE program completion acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Inspect refrigeration and air conditioning systems and components.
• Operate tools and document time, labor and materials.
